The 27th annual NSB Chowder Festival will take over Flagler Avenue from noon-5 p.m., Sunday, January 29, in New Smyrna Beach. Featuring 30 chowders, the progressive chowder cook-off will be held along both sides of the Avenue. The event is sponsored by the Merchants of Flagler Avenue and the New Smyrna Beach Moose Lodge. Proceeds from the $15 passport benefit the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Camp in Barberville.
